Ladies and Gentlemen,
As director of the St. Anthony Guild Players, I would like to cordially invite you to come and enjoy this year’s production of William Shakespeare’s timeless comedy, The Tempest. We will be performing three times at the Central Brown County Library auditorium, located in the basement of the library. The dates and times are as follows:
Wednesday, July 11, 4:30-7:30 p.m.
Friday, July 13, 1:30-4:30 p.m.
Saturday, July 14, 12:00-3:00 p.m.
All performances are free admission; there is no cost involved, unless you choose to make a donation. We hope that you will join us for one or more of these performances, and while experiencing Shakespeare’s rich and deep language, enjoy likewise his inimitable sense of the comedic. "The Tempest" was the last play that Shakespeare wrote, and the story has it all: danger, magic, romance, repentance, political intrigue, revenge, forgiveness, and of course some drunken comic relief. We believe you will enjoy watching it as much as we enjoy putting it on!
The Saint Anthony Guild Players is a group composed of talented young people from families in and around the area who give up much of their summer to make each play a work of art. We strive to make our productions as family-friendly as possible, and so we encourage you to bring the whole family for this unique mixture of entertainment and education.
If you have any questions regarding the Guild, please visit our Facebook page at “St. Anthony Guild Players Green Bay”, and feel free to post any comments or inquiries that you may have. Your support is greatly appreciated!
God bless you, and we hope to see you at the show!
